Job Description:

This full-service law firm, which also functions as estate agents, is currently seeking a Lawyer to join its busy Private Client Team in Glasgow. The purpose of the role is to provide professional advice to clients on private client matters including wills, powers of attorney, testamentary trust plans, and family protection trusts.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Preparing accurate and legally sound documents based on client instructions, ensuring compliance.
• Conducting consultations with clients to understand their needs, provide advice, and gather instructions for estate planning documents.
• Meeting monthly fee targets by effectively pricing and selling estate planning services.
• Developing relationships with Charities, Financial Advisors, and other partners to generate new business.
• Supervising support staff to ensure tasks are delegated efficiently and performance is managed.

The team seeks candidates with at least 2 years’ PQE in private client work, with experience or interest in estate planning. Handling sensitive and complex cases is desirable. 2024 qualifiers focusing on Private Client will also be considered.
