Job Description:

Premier Solicitors are looking for two Private Client Solicitors / Chartered Legal Executives to join our busy Private Client team. The Solicitors / CLEs will join a large Private Client team where there will be the opportunity to impact the department, grow with us, and achieve your goals, both financially and in your career progression. One position is office (and/or hybrid) based at our Bedford office, and the other is fully remote.

You will need to be talented, driven, and dedicated.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for managing your own caseload of private client files, the majority of which will be probate work, including:

• Ancillary work (assents, registering life interest trusts, trust setup, dissolving trusts, deeds of variation)

You will assist the Directors in building and developing the department when necessary.

Minimum Requirements

• A qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with a minimum of 3 years’ PQE in Private Client work
• Good client care skills, providing professional and competent legal advice
• Capability to generate fees in accordance with targets
• Proven experience of handling own caseload
• Ability to adhere to and manage deadlines
• Good drafting and writing skills, excellent communication and technical ability
• Preferably STEP qualified
