Job summary

Realm Recruit in Chester is seeking an NQ–3 PQE Private Client Solicitor to build confidence while managing a focused caseload of wills, LPAs and probate with support from a senior solicitor.

You’ll join a small team, handle 30–40 cases, and have autonomy over your files, with training to broaden into more complex Private Client and trusts work, plus merit-based progression and hybrid working across Chester and St Asaph.

Qualifications

• Experience managing your own wills and LPA matters (Essential).
• Confidence taking responsibility for your own files and client relationships (Essential).
• Strong organisation and attention to detail (Essential).
• Excellent communication and client-care skills (Essential).
• Desire to broaden Private Client expertise (Essential).
• Full UK driving licence and access to your own car (Essential).
• Probate experience (Desirable) – training and support can be provided.
• Experience or interest in developing trusts knowledge (Desirable).

Responsibilities

• Managing a caseload of approximately 30–40 Private Client matters.
• Handling wills and LPAs independently.
• Taking responsibility for probate matters according to your existing experience.
• Receiving further training in probate where required.
• Advising clients and managing relationships throughout their matters.
• Supporting an experienced solicitor with more complex Private Client work.
• Developing your exposure to trusts.
• Working alongside a legal assistant who provides additional support to the team.
• Attending client appointments across the Chester and St Asaph offices.
