Job summary

G2 Legal is representing a friendly Loughborough-based private client team seeking a Private Client Lawyer (Solicitor/Legal Executive) with 3+ PQE to manage a varied caseload including wills, probate, LPAs, trusts and estate administration.

You will work with a supportive Partner and have the opportunity to develop your career in a flexible environment with hybrid working. The firm offers a competitive salary and generous leave entitlements.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with ideally a minimum of 3 years’ PQE handling private client work.
• Experience of independently managing your own private client caseload.
• Strong knowledge across wills, probate, LPAs, trusts and estate administration.

Private Client Lawyer (Solicitor/Legal Executive) – 3+ PQE

Loughborough, Leicestershire (with hybrid working available)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join a friendly and professional Loughborough based private client team.

The firm is a highly regarded local practice with offices in the Leicestershire area, serving a long standing client base across the region. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious lawyer looking to develop their career within a supportive, flexible and collaborative environment.

The Role

Working with the wider Private Client team, you will manage your own varied Private Client caseload, with the support and supervision of an experienced Partner, advising clients on a broad range of matters including:

• Wills & Probate matters
• Estate Administration, including managing estates for HNW clients
• Lifetime and IHT Planning matters
• Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs)
• Trusts

You will build strong relationships with clients, delivering practical legal advice with professionalism, empathy and exceptional client care.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive status with ideally a minimum of 3 years’ PQE handling private client work
• Experience of independently managing your own private client caseload
• Strong technical knowledge across wills, probate, LPAs, trusts and estate administration
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills
• A proactive and organised approach to case management
• Good IT skills
• STEP qualification would be a significant benefit
