Job summary

Henderson Scott is recruiting a Private Client Solicitor (NQ – 3 years PQE) to join its growing Private Client team on a hybrid basis. You will manage your own caseload with close support from experienced practitioners and exposure to a high‑quality client base.

Key duties include wills and estate planning, probate, LPAs, trusts and inheritance tax planning, plus building lasting client relationships and contributing to cross‑practice development.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor with NQ to 3 years' PQE.
• Experience in a Private Client department during training or post-qualification.
• Ability to manage files independently while knowing when to seek support.
• Commercially aware with a proactive approach to client service.
• Experience dealing with high-net-worth individuals and complex estates.

Responsibilities

• Managing a varied caseload of private client matters.
• Advising clients on wills and estate planning, probate and LPA, trusts, and inheritance tax.
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Delivering exceptional levels of client care and service.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues across other practice areas.
• Identifying opportunities for cross-referral and business development.
• Supporting the team's commercial objectives and growth plans.
