Job summary

The London office is seeking a Newly Qualified Private Client Solicitor to join a growing private client team. You will handle wills, probate and estate administration with supervision, while taking on increasing client responsibility.

You will develop your technical abilities, build direct client relationships and work closely with senior colleagues on more complex, high-value matters. An excellent platform for early career progression.

Qualifications

• NQ solicitor with strong Private Client training.
• Experience across Wills, Probate and Estate Administration.
• Interest in developing a long-term career in Private Client.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent written/verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Work across wills, probate and estate matters with supervision.
• Assist on probate, estate administration, and trusts where applicable.
• Support on Lasting Powers of Attorney, inheritance tax planning and succession planning.
• Develop client relationships and work with senior solicitors on complex matters.

This is an excellent opportunity for an NQ looking to build their career within a supportive team, working alongside experienced private client solicitors and gaining exposure to a varied and interesting caseload.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop their technical expertise while working directly with clients and taking responsibility for matters from an early stage.

The Role

You will work across a broad range of private client matters, including:

• Wills and estate planning
• Probate and estate administration
• Lasting Powers of Attorney
• Trusts and related matters
• Inheritance Tax planning
• Advising individuals and families on succession planning
• Supporting on more complex and high-value estates
• Developing and maintaining strong client relationships
• Working closely with senior members of the team on more complex matters

As an NQ, you will receive excellent support and supervision while being given genuine responsibility and opportunities to develop your own client-facing skills.

• Be a Newly Qualified Solicitor with a strong Private Client training seat
• Have gained experience across Wills, Probate and Estate Administration

• Be confident dealing with clients and building trusted relationships
