The Opportunity

You will manage a diverse and rewarding private client caseload covering a broad range of matters, including estate planning, trusts, probate, inheritance tax planning and succession arrangements.

The successful candidate will advise a loyal client base across Wiltshire and the South West, including clients with complex UK and international asset structures.

Key Responsibilities

• Advising on Wills, estate planning and succession planning
• Inheritance Tax (IHT) planning and wealth preservation strategies
• Drafting, establishing and administering trusts
• Probate matters and complex estate administration
• Advising High Net Worth individuals, entrepreneurs and farming clients
• Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs)
• Tax‑efficient estate structuring (working closely with a tax expert)
• Providing tailored private client advice to individuals and families

Candidate Requirements

• Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive (CILEx)
• Minimum 4 years' PQE within Private Client law
• Strong technical knowledge of trusts, probate and inheritance tax planning
• Experience managing your own private client caseload
• Excellent client relationship and communication skills
• Ability to work independently whilst contributing to a collaborative team environment
