Hawthorne-Finch Talent Solutions is seeking a Private Client Solicitor in Chatham to manage a varied caseload and deliver high-quality client service in a forward-thinking firm.

The role requires 3–6 years PQE in UK private practice with strong knowledge of wills, probate, trusts, and estate administration, along with excellent client care and communication skills. Hybrid working options are available while offices remain in Chatham.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years PQE in private client law.
• UK private practice experience required.
• Strong knowledge of wills, probate, trusts and estate administration.
• Excellent client care, organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Qualified as Solicitor or Legal Executive.

Responsabilités

• Manage a diverse caseload of private client matters including wills, probate, trusts, estate administration, tax planning, and powers of attorney.
• Advise and support clients with sensitivity and professionalism.
• Draft and review legal documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Liaise with clients, beneficiaries, financial institutions, and external professionals.
• Keep up to date with changes in private client law and best practice.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and firm standards.

The Opportunity

Location: Chatham, Kent (office-based with flexible/hybrid working considered)

Salary: £45,000–£65,000 per annum

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am–5:30pm

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse caseload of private client matters including wills, probate, trusts, estate administration, tax planning, and powers of attorney

What We’re Looking For

• 3–6 years’ PQE as a Private Client Solicitor
• UK private practice experience
• Strong technical knowledge of wills, probate, trusts, estate administration, and related areas
• Excellent client care, organisational, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Relevant legal qualification (Solicitor or Legal Executive)
