Job summary

Sellick Partnership (Legal) Limited seeks a Private Client Solicitor or Legal Executive (5+ PQE) to join a busy Private Client team in Buckingham. Manage wills, probate, LPAs, trusts and tax planning with high-net-worth clients. Strong independence and client-care skills are essential; STEP is a plus.

Salary £50,000–£70,000 DOE with private medical insurance, pension, life assurance and 26 days of leave + holidays. Full-time or part-time considered, with ongoing training and development.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with 5+ years' PQE preferred.
• Strong Private Client experience and ability to manage matters independently.
• Excellent communication and client care skills; mentoring experience a plus.
• STEP qualification advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied Private Client caseload including wills, probate, LPAs, trusts and estate planning.
• Advise high‑net‑worth clients with strong client care and professional discretion.
• Mentor or supervise junior team members where possible.

Buckingham | £50,000 - £70,000 DOE

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Private Client Solicitor or Legal Executive to join a well-established and busy Private Client team.

The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload including:

• Wills
• Probate and Estate Administration
• Lasting Powers of Attorney
• Trusts
• Inheritance Tax and Estate Planning
• Court of Protection matters

You will be confident handling your own caseload, providing excellent client care, and advising a broad range of clients, including high-net-worth individuals.

About You

• Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive
• 5+ years' PQE preferred
• Strong Private Client experience
• Able to manage matters independently
• Excellent communication and client care skills
• STEP qualification advantageous but not essential
• Experience supervising or mentoring junior team members would be beneficial
