Job summary

Sellick Partnership Limited - Private Practice is seeking a Private Client Solicitor or Legal Executive in Buckingham. The role handles wills, probate, LPAs, trusts, and estate planning for high-net-worth clients.

5+ years PQE is preferred and you should be capable of managing a varied caseload with minimal supervision. The firm offers a competitive salary of £50,000–£70,000 DOE, private medical insurance, a pension, life assurance, and generous annual leave.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with 5+ years PQE is preferred.
• Strong Private Client experience across wills, probate, trusts, and related matters.
• Ability to manage matters independently and deliver excellent client service.
• Excellent communication and client care skills essential for client interaction.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied private client caseload including wills, probate, and estate administration.
• Handle Lasting Powers of Attorney, trusts, and inheritance tax planning.
• Involvement in Court of Protection matters as needed.
• Supervise or mentor junior team members would be beneficial.

Private Client Solicitor / Legal Executive (5+ PQE)

Buckingham | £50,000 - £70,000 DOE

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Private Client Solicitor or Legal Executive to join a well-established and busy Private Client team.

The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload including:

• Wills
• Probate and Estate Administration
• Lasting Powers of Attorney
• Trusts
• Inheritance Tax and Estate Planning
• Court of Protection matters

You will be confident handling your own caseload, providing excellent client care, and advising a broad range of clients, including high-net-worth individuals.

About You

• Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive
• 5+ years' PQE preferred
• Strong Private Client experience
• Able to manage matters independently
• Excellent communication and client care skills
• STEP qualification advantageous but not essential
• Experience supervising or mentoring junior team members would be beneficial
