Job summary

Chadwick Nott is recruiting a Private Client Senior Associate/Partner for Salisbury to join a well-resourced team advising individuals, families and business owners on estate planning and succession matters.

As a senior member you will drive growth of the department, develop the private client offering and mentor junior lawyers while handling high-value Wills, Probate and tax planning work.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in Wills, Probate, Trusts, Estate Planning and Tax Planning.
• Ability to manage complex, high-value private client work.
• Strong relationship-building and networking skills.
• Experience developing and maintaining a loyal client base.
• Collaborative leadership style with mentoring enthusiasm.
• Commercial awareness and growth contributions; STEP qualification advantageous.

Responsibilities

Private Client Senior Associate/Partner - Salisbury

The Role

You will join a well-resourced Private Client team that advises individuals, families and business owners on a wide range of estate planning and succession matters. As a senior member of the team, you'll play an important role in both the continued growth of the department and the development of the firm's private client offering.

• Handle a broad caseload of Wills, Probate, Estate Planning, Trust and tax planning matters
• Advise on complex estate administration, succession planning and wealth protection strategies
• Support clients with Powers of Attorney, Court of Protection and long-term care planning matters
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, intermediaries and professional contacts
• Mentor and support junior team members, sharing technical knowledge and encouraging development
• Contribute to business development initiatives and help drive the continued growth of the department

About You

You will ideally have:

• Significant experience in Wills, Probate, Trusts, Estate Planning and Tax Planning matters
• The ability to manage complex and high-value private client work
• Strong relationship-building and networking skills
• Experience developing and maintaining a loyal client base
• A collaborative leadership style and enthusiasm for mentoring others
• Commercial awareness and a desire to contribute to the growth of the wider practice
• STEP qualification or working towards STEP accreditation would be advantageous
