Job summary

Spire Solicitors LLP is seeking a Legal Support (Onboarding) to join our Private Client team at a Norfolk office, including Attleborough. You will support file openings, client verification, AML/KYC compliance and liaison with fee earners to prioritise work.

The role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organisation, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while delivering high-quality client service.

Qualifications

• Adept at managing multiple tasks with strong attention to detail.
• Team-oriented with ability to gain trust of team and clients.
• Organised with good time-management and ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Client and matter inception.
• Open files with new business team and fee earners in compliance.
• Manage digital and physical identity verification.
• Execute conflict-of-interest searches before opening new matters.
• Explain regulatory requirements to new clients in accessible terms.
• Audit data entry for communication preferences and AML/KYC processes.
• Chase clients/third parties for outstanding documents and letters.
• Update client data in practice management systems (ALB).
• Ensure tasks are logged and compliant.
• Liaise with fee earners to prioritise work.
• Assist onboarding internal staff with intake portals and compliance workflows.
• Answer calls and greet clients, collecting ID documentation.
• Photocopying and scanning.
