Job summary

Arbuthnot Latham is seeking a Private Banking Executive to provide pro-active support to one to two Private Bankers and their client portfolios. You will assist in client acquisition, retention, and the preparation of lending proposals, acting as a proxy for PBs in meetings and communications.

The role emphasizes rigorous regulatory compliance, excellent client service, and active involvement in maintaining and growing HNW client relationships within a dynamic private banking setting.

Qualifications

• Front office experience is required.
• Good understanding of HNW segment and market.
• Detailed knowledge of lending areas.
• Regulatory requirements covering money laundering and criminal activity.
• Strong interest in financial markets.
• Wealth management knowledge in banking products.
• Multi-tasking capability.
• Ability to work under pressure with a heavy workload.
• IT literate with high MS Office knowledge.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Main point of contact and accountability for daily banking for clients.
• Build and monitor client relationships and support PBs in growing portfolios.
• Identify new sales opportunities and perform proactive client calls.
• Prepare full client briefs and research for private bankers.
• Assist with annual credit reviews and account maintenance procedures.
• Prepare client communications and account opening forms.
• Coordinate diaries and meetings for Private Bankers.
• Support change projects and user acceptance testing.
