Job summary

Arbuthnot Latham in Manchester is seeking a Private Banking Executive to support Private Bankers with client acquisition, portfolio management and proactive client contact. The role focuses on delivering high-quality service to HNW clients while ensuring compliance with FCA/PRA rules.

You will assist with account openings, credit applications and ongoing relationship management, contributing to the bank's risk controls and change initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience in client facing roles within private banking contexts.
• Private banking support experience with PBs advantageous.
• Strong understanding of HNW clients and market dynamics.
• Knowledge of lending regulations and AML controls.
• Interest in financial markets and wealth management products.
• Ability to multitask with a heavy workload and shifting priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Proficient IT skills and MS Office literacy.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the main point of contact for clients' day-to-day banking needs.
• Support Private Bankers in growing and retaining their portfolios of HNW clients.
• Identify and act on new sales opportunities.
• Prepare client briefs and research for Private Bankers.
• Assist with account openings, maintenance, and regulatory compliance.
• Participate in change projects and test new front-office systems.
