Job summary

Your role will be to develop a comprehensive ROPA, identify gaps and risks, and implement practical processes to keep data processing activities accurate and up to date.

Qualifications

• Strong working knowledge of UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
• Experience developing ROPAs and completing DPIAs.
• Ability to explain requirements clearly to colleagues across departments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive ROPA for the organisation.
• Gather information from departments to identify gaps and actions.
• Establish practical processes to keep the ROPA accurate and up to date.
• Review DPIAs and support new assessments where required.
• Review data protection provisions in existing contracts.
• Create clear guidance, screening checklists and learning materials.
• Help colleagues understand responsibilities and make informed data decisions.
