Meta's Privacy Engineering team seeks a Security Engineer with an adversarial mindset to identify and neutralize real-world privacy threats across products and infrastructure. You will guide engineers through remediations, identify vulnerabilities in codebases, and build agentic systems at scale to assist in privacy protection for billions of users.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of work experience in privacy/security domains including incident response etc.
• Experience identifying, analyzing, and remediating real-world privacy/security threats
• Proficiency in coding in Python, Java, PHP, C/C++
• Experience with AI coding tools and agents in security investigations

Responsibilities

• Lead technical triage and investigation of privacy incidents, guiding engineers through mitigation and remediation
• Design and build scalable agentic AI systems to autonomously handle incident response and vulnerability discovery
• Partner with engineering and product teams to improve designs and shift privacy protections earlier in development
• Lead medium-to-large technical projects from problem definition through implementation and ownership
