Job summary

Meta's Privacy Engineering team is seeking a Security Engineer who applies an adversarial mindset to identify, scope, contain, and eradicate real-world privacy threats to products and infrastructure. You will guide engineers through remediations, learn from incidents, and build agentic systems at scale to assist detection and remediation of vulnerabilities.

Responsibilities include leading privacy incident triage, designing scalable AI-assisted response systems, and partnering with engineering

Qualifications

• 5+ years of work experience in privacy, security, or security software engineering
• Experience identifying, analyzing, and remediating real-world privacy/security threats
• Proficiency coding in Python, Java, C/C++, or equivalent, with review experience

Responsibilities

• Lead triage and investigation of privacy incidents with engineers, guiding mitigation
• Design and build scalable agentic AI systems for incident response and vulnerability discovery
• Collaborate with product teams to shift privacy protections earlier in development
• Lead medium-to-large technical projects from problem definition to ownership
