Responsibilities

• Undertake full range of offender management tasks with low to medium risk cases.
• Assist in case management of high risk prisoners when required.
• Involve in processes such as ACCT and violence reduction/anti-bullying.
• Act as ACCT Case Manager only when appropriate.
• Interviews with prisoners within prescribed timescales; set and review targets; update case notes.
• Use OASys to identify risks and manage offenders.
• Obtain information from outside agencies for OASys reports.
• Lead sentence planning meetings to prepare and review plans.
• Coordinate sentence plan activities with prisoners and departments.
• Encourage education, interventions and workshops within sentence plans.
• Provide professional advice and written reports to agencies and partners.
• Liaise with ROMs regarding ROTL and HDC; advise on early release suitability.
• Support ROMs with recall management and re-release plans.
• Complete all case paperwork, including lifer and ISP documents.
