Job summary

Aramark UK is hiring a kitchen supervisor to oversee day-to-day operations at HMP Five Wells, Wellingborough. You will supervise a team of chefs and enhanced inmates, preparing meals three times daily on a rotating shift schedule (Earlies/Lates).

The role demands a culinary qualification and the ability to pass security vetting and DBS checks. With a permanent, full-time contract and a 3 on/3 off pattern, you will benefit from meals, parking, a Blue Light Discount Card during probation, EAP, and

Qualifications

• Must have supervisory experience in a large-scale kitchen.
• Must hold a relevant culinary qualification.
• Must have the legal right to work in the UK and reside in the UK for the past 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a kitchen team including enhanced inmates.
• Prepare basic quality foods according to a set pre-ordered menu.
• Ensure kitchen cleanliness, stock checks and paperwork are completed.
• Maintain due diligence forms and other required records.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues and manage conflicts.
• Undertake training and development as required.
