Job summary

Career Connect is seeking a Prison Employment Advisor in Rochdale to support offenders in custody and through the gate, helping them address resettlement goals. The role is full-time and permanent, delivering the CFO Evolution contract in the North-West.

The successful candidate will be confident, proactive and a strong communicator, able to work with partner organisations and maintain detailed records. Training will be provided to get you established in the role.

Qualifications

• Experience with offenders or vulnerable groups is preferred.
• Ability to connect with people to help them progress in a prison environment.
• Ability to work towards individual targets and comply with contract requirements.
• Training will be provided for the role.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the CFO Evolution contract in the North-West with offenders in custody and Through the Gate.
• Support participants to address their resettlement goals.
• Collaborate with partner organisations to achieve the best outcomes.
• Maintain accurate records and databases with strong attention to detail.

Prison Employment Advisor

£27,015-£30,612 per annum

We are looking for an enthusiastic and confident Prison Employment Advisor to help us deliver the CFO Evolution contract in the North-West. The contract works with offenders in custody and Through the Gate to help them address their resettlement goals.

This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference to people and communities.

You’ll need to be:

• confident and proactive
• a good communicator with a non-judgemental approach
• effective at working with partner organisations to ensure the best results for our participants
• comfortable working on databases and have a strong attention to detail

We are especially looking for applicants who have experience of helping offenders or other vulnerable groups to move forward in their lives. If you’re someone who can really connect with people to help them to progress, work in a prison environment, embrace the quality and compliance requirements of the contract and have the skills to work towards individual targets, we’d love to hear from you.
