Novus Gower is seeking a Cover Supervisor to ensure smooth delivery of learner-focused education at HMP Parc, Bridgend, Wales. The role is full-time, 40 hours per week, permanent, with responsibilities to support learners and work with senior leaders to drive efficiency.

Applicants should ideally hold a teaching qualification and Level 2 Literacy and Numeracy. DBS checks will be required; safeguarding is a priority.

Qualifications

• Hold a teaching qualification (Desirable).
• Hold a Level 2 qualification in Literacy and Numeracy.
• Experience creating stimulating, vibrant environments which are conducive to learning and motivational for learners.
• Experience achieving quality targets.
• Experience producing accurate and timely reports.
• Demonstrate effective interpersonal and communication skills.
• Demonstrate an ability to motivate and enthuse learners.
• Have excellent organisational skills to prioritise workload, and meet deadlines and targets.
• Always commit to positive teamworking.

• Coordinate high-quality, learner-focused education provision to meet contractual requirements and standards, in line with Novus Gower policies and procedure.
