Job summary

Get Set UK is recruiting a CIAG Advisor for Prison Services to provide practical careers guidance inside a custodial setting. You will help people understand their skills, plan routes to employment or training, and deliver targeted one-to-one sessions and workshops.

You will manage a caseload, maintain records and work with partners to support progression beyond custody, all within safeguarding and security requirements.

Qualifications

• CV and application must demonstrate careers guidance experience
• Evidence of delivering group workshops or structured sessions
• Evidence of managing competing priorities and keeping accurate records
• Experience handling sensitive information and safeguarding requirements
• Willingness to work towards Level 4 IAG qualification if needed

Responsibilities

• Deliver one-to-one careers guidance in custody
• Manage caseload and deliver practical workshops
• Create action plans and maintain accurate case records
• Work with prison colleagues, training providers and employers
• Support progression beyond custody for participants
