Job summary

Seetec Group Ltd. is hiring a Careers Information Advice and Guidance Adviser to support individuals in prison settings, helping them build skills and confidence for a fresh start.

You will deliver tailored career coaching, workshops and personalised action plans to reduce reoffending and aid reintegration. Based at HMP Isle Of Wight with a permanent contract and 37.5 hours Monday to Friday, the role requires resilience, empathy and a focus on results.

Qualifications

• High level of initiative and motivation; able to solve problems.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work independently.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and training.
• Customer/service-user focus.

Responsibilities

• Manage a prisoner caseload and meet performance targets.
• Record interactions on Justice systems and update case notes.
• Document advice and goals in Learning and Work Plan with SMART goals.
• Meet and exceed KPIs for prisoners seen and progress in work/learning.
• Work across different prisons to ensure continuity of service.
• Attend custody meetings and travel for CPD when required.
