Job summary

Seetec is seeking a CIAG Adviser to work within prison settings, delivering tailored career coaching, workshops and personalised action plans to help prisoners build skills, confidence and aspirations for a fresh start. The role involves managing a prisoner caseload, recording interactions in relevant Justice systems, updating case notes and Learning and Work Plans with SMART goals.

You will meet performance targets, work across prisons, attend custody meetings and travel for CPD.

Qualifications

• High level of initiative and motivation with the ability to seek out solutions to problems.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently.
• Accountable for own professional development and to undertake necessary training as identified in the Performance Review process.
• Customer/Service focus in the Justice and Social Care division delivering tailored support across contracts and services.

Responsibilities

• Manage a prisoner caseload and support achievement of personal and team targets within PMT requirements.
• Record all interactions with prisoners on Justice systems and update case notes.
• Document advice and goals in Learning and Work Plan with SMART goals and actions.
• Meet and strive to exceed personal KPIs relating to prisoners seen and progress in work/learning.
• Work across prisons to support continuity of service.
