Our Water and Environment Operating Unit provides a focus for advising our clients on the sustainable management of the natural water environment using scientific/engineering analysis and design expertise. Our mission is to be a global leader that puts water at the heart of a sustainable society.

To meet our growing UK business needs and future development aspirations we are looking for experienced civil engineers to join our multi-disciplinary team and provide technical consultancy services to develop successful projects.

We are looking for people to join our offices across the United Kingdom and we encourage applications from candidates seeking flexible working, job share or reduced hours’ contracts.

About you

Successful candidates will join a team of over 600 Water Professionals, working on a range of high-profile projects and become a part of a World Leading Company with excellent career prospects. You will be delivering project tasks, designs and working with clients on water and wastewater non-infrastructure and infrastructure at various stages in the project life cycle, working within our multi-disciplinary teams to deliver projects within agreed timeframes and budget.

Here's what you'll need

  • A Masters Degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering or similar.
  • Achieved Chartered Status (CEng) with a recognised Professional Institution.
  • Experience in one or more of the following areas:
    • Water and/or wastewater networks
    • Water and/or wastewater treatment works
    • Hydraulics
    • Mass water conveyance
  • Enthusiasm to solve problems and enjoy working as part of a large multi-national company.
  • Worked within multi-disciplinary teams, co-ordinating and supporting junior staff.
  • A proactive and keenness to take ownership of client relationships and contribute to the growth of our business.
