Senior Traffic Signals Design Engineer - United Kingdom (Remote)

We're looking for an experienced engineer to lead the design of complex signalised junctions, pedestrian crossings, and intelligent traffic control systems across high-profile infrastructure projects. This role offers a 50/50 split between home working and onsite presence—ideal for surveys, design validations, and stakeholder engagement.

Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and drive solutions, working closely with technical experts committed to impactful work. Help build and maintain the nation’s critical infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct on-site inspections, surveys, commissioning, and supervision
• Prepare technical designs of complex signalised junctions and crossings, including specifications
• Provide technical oversight for new product or service ideas and design plans
• Prepare complex MOVA Designs and Datasets
• Ensure compliance with standards like TSRGD, DMRB, and Traffic Signs Manual
• Undertake MOVA validations of complex junctions and roundabouts

Candidate Profile:

Experience in designing signalised junctions and crossings, seeking to advance to a Senior Design Services Engineer role with innovative perspectives.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Keysignals, OSC Mapper, AutoTURN
• Microsoft Office skills
• Knowledge of TOPAS 2500A Traffic Signal Controller
• Familiarity with MOVA tools, datasets, and linking
• Knowledge of LinSig 3
• Full UK Driving Licence
