Job Description:

Senior Traffic Signals Design Engineer — United Kingdom (Remote)

We are seeking an experienced engineer to lead the design of complex signalised junctions, pedestrian crossings, and intelligent traffic control systems across various high-profile infrastructure projects. This role offers a 50/50 split between home working and onsite presence, suitable for surveys, design validations, and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities include:

• Conducting on-site inspections, surveys, commissioning, and supervision
• Preparing technical designs of complex signalised junctions and crossings, including specifications
• Providing technical oversight for new product or service ideas and planning
• Preparing complex MOVA Designs and Datasets
• Applying standards such as TSRGD, DMRB, and the Traffic Signs Manual
• Undertaking MOVA Validations of junctions and roundabouts

Candidate profile:

Ideal candidates will have prior experience designing signalised junctions and crossings, seeking to advance to a Senior Design Services Engineer role and bring fresh perspectives to Traffic Signal Design.

Key requirements:

• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Keysignals, OSC Mapper, and AutoTURN software
• Microsoft Office skills
• Knowledge of TOPAS 2500A Traffic Signal Controller Specifications
• Familiarity with MOVA Tools, Datasets, and Linking
• Knowledge of LinSig 3
• Full UK Driving Licence
