Senior Traffic Signals Design Engineer - United Kingdom (Remote)

We are seeking an experienced engineer to lead the design of complex signalised junctions, pedestrian crossings, and intelligent traffic control systems for high-profile infrastructure projects. This role offers a 50/50 split between remote work and onsite presence for surveys, design validations, and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct on-site inspections, surveys, commissioning, and supervision
• Prepare technical designs of complex signalised junctions and pedestrian crossings, including specifications
• Provide technical oversight for new product or service ideas and design plans
• Develop MOVA Designs and Datasets
• Ensure compliance with standards such as TSRGD, DMRB, and the Traffic Signs Manual
• Validate MOVA systems for complex junctions and roundabouts

Candidate Profile:

Ideal candidates will have prior experience designing signalised junctions and crossings, seeking to advance to a Senior Design Services Engineer role with fresh perspectives on Traffic Signal Design solutions.

Key Requirements:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Keysignals, OSC Mapper, AutoTURN
• Microsoft Office skills
• Knowledge of TOPAS 2500A Traffic Signal Controller Specifications
• Experience with MOVA tools, datasets, and linking
• Familiarity with LinSig 3
• Full UK Driving Licence
