Job summary

AWS EMEA SARL (UK Branch) is seeking a Principal Technologist to shape and deliver cloud strategies for UK Government programs within the GGDO. You will work directly with customers, partners, and AWS service teams to tackle complex technical and business integration challenges.

The role requires coordinating across security, infrastructure, data/AI, and enterprise architecture, aligning with UK Government contracts and CCS/G-Cloud frameworks to drive delivery and reform in public cloud adoption.

Qualifications

• Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level.
• Experience with Core Cloud Technology Services: Compute, Edge, Hybrid, Security, and Networking.
• Experience in Go-To-Market, Business Development, Sales, or Consulting.
• Experience working with Data & AI related technologies, including AI/ML, GenAI, Analytics, Database, and/or Storage.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with AWS service teams to ensure technical commitments to customers in named programs.
• Interface with Capture, Sales, and Solutions Architecture to provide depth in partnership discussions.
• Coordinate a matrixed team drawn from the Federal business verticals to support programs.
• Develop long-term strategy for AWS in the Federal program space, including global infrastructure and go-to-market approach.
