Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a Principal Systems Engineer in Portsmouth with hybrid on-site work 3+ days per week. The role supports Marine engineering service elements including design change management and platform assurance, requiring UK SC clearance eligibility and a right to work in the UK.

You'll lead technical reviews, govern MBSE practices, and coordinate across stakeholders to define requirements, interfaces, and acceptance criteria, delivering high-quality outcomes for complex systems.

Competenze

• Experience applying systems engineering across the lifecycle, including MBSE and V&V.
• Knowledge of high level design methodologies and architectures (SysML/UML).
• Experience using requirements and interface management tools with traceability.

Mansioni

• Understand problem space, surface constraints, balance trade-offs, and define success criteria.
• Define system interfaces, maintain end-to-end traceability and manage change with impact assessments.
• Champion MBSE, model definition, behaviour, structure and interfaces with standard formats.
• Plan design reviews, drive verification and validation to achieve on-time delivery.
• Lead technical reviews, manage risks, and mentor engineers across the lifecycle.
