Version 1 is seeking a Strategy & Advisory Principal to join the Transformation Design Group (TDG). This senior role focuses on building trusted client relationships, shaping user-centred digital and business transformation, and delivering meaningful outcomes.

You will work across client advisory, problem-solving, and pre-sales, combining strategic thinking with hands-on delivery and leadership across Version 1 teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of consulting or equivalent senior advisory experience.
• Deep TDG discipline expertise such as product management, service design, user research, user-centred design, business analysis, change, analytics.
• Comfort working with senior/executive stakeholders and clear communication of complex ideas.
• Ability to move between strategy and detail and create direction while enabling progress.
• Experience shaping opportunities, proposals and communicating a clear value story.
• Commercial awareness balancing customer outcomes, delivery realities and sustainable growth.
• Excellent written, facilitation and presentation skills.

Responsabilités

• Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders in public and private sectors.
• Bring structure and clarity to complex, ambiguous business problems and connect strategy to execution.
• Lead advisory engagements and work packages drawing on TDG capabilities and Version 1.
• Apply user-centred, evidence-led and commercially aware approaches to transformation.
• Adapt methods to client context and identify where AI can add value.
• Represent thinking through client conversations, case studies, networks and events.
• Identify opportunities with existing and new clients and articulate Version 1’s capabilities.
• Lead proposals, bids and market propositions with Commercial, Pre-sales and Delivery teams.
• Evolve propositions using market insight and trends.
• Create persuasive material to showcase services and evidence.
