Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and advanced applied experience.
Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
Expert proficiency in one or more programming languages.
Experience designing and leading the adoption of agentic AI-enabled development practices across teams, including governance and auditability.
Strong understanding of responsible AI use, security, resiliency, and data handling within engineering workflows.

Responsibilities

Creates complex and scalable coding frameworks using appropriate software design frameworks.
Develops secure, high-quality production code and reviews code written by others.
Architects and governs agentic AI-enabled engineering workflows to improve speed, quality, and outcomes at scale.
Applies SDLC tools and AI-assisted development to enhance automation value.
Serves as go-to subject matter expert within the function.
