Job summary

JAM Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Principal Product Security Engineer for a 12 month contract based in Barrow (LA14). You will define and deliver security engineering activities across the PMS domain within a multidisciplinary engineering environment, ensuring alignment with governance, risk management and security processes.

You will lead development of security artefacts, drive security case work and coordinate with internal teams and external suppliers to achieve coherent and integrated

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Information Assurance and Product Security within complex engineered systems
• Awareness of HM Government IS 1 & 2, ISO 27000, IEC 62443 standards
• Experience delivering security cases and managing information risk
• Experience engaging with supplier deliverables and assurance activities
• Working knowledge of systems engineering lifecycle and design assurance processes

Responsibilities

• Define, agree and deliver Product Security activities in line with the programme Engineering Management Plan
• Lead PMS Interim and Final Security Cases across defined programme phases
• Manage IA technical communications and ensure outputs respect security handling constraints
• Plan and report progress, risks and milestones to project governance
• Provide technical leadership within the PMS Product Security team and drive improvements to methods and tooling
• Contribute to continuous improvement of Product Security practices across the programme
