Job summary

JAM Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Principal Product Security Engineer for a 12 month contract in Barrow. The role focuses on information assurance and product security across the PMS domain, delivering security artefacts, risk management, and governance in a large, regulated defence context.

You will work with engineering teams and external suppliers to ensure coherent security outcomes, leading security cases, risk registers, and design reviews within programme constraints.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Information Assurance and Product Security within complex engineered systems.
• Awareness of Security Accreditation processes.

Responsibilities

• Define, agree and deliver Product Security activities in line with the programme Engineering Management Plan.
• Lead development of PMS Interim and Final Security Cases.
• Manage PMS IA risk registers and supplier artefacts.
• Coordinate IA Technical Queries and formal communications.
• Provide regular reporting into project governance with milestones, risks and issues.
