Job summary

JAM Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Principal Product Security Engineer for a 12-month contract based in Barrow (LA14). The role focuses on delivering security engineering activities, producing Security Cases, and managing IA risk across the PMS domain within a multi-disciplinary engineering environment.

You will lead security artefacts, coordinate with internal teams and external suppliers, and ensure governance and compliance with established processes while driving risk-based security solutions

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Information Assurance and Product Security within complex engineered systems.
• Experience delivering security cases and managing information risk.
• Experience engaging with and assuring supplier deliverables.
• Familiarity with HM Government IS standards and ISO 27000 series.

Responsibilities

• Define, agree and deliver Product Security activities in line with the programme plan.
• Lead the development of PMS Interim and Final Security Cases across phases.
• Coordinate IA technical queries and formal communications.
• Plan and manage Product Security activities to meet milestones and delivery schedules.
• Provide technical leadership within the PMS Product Security team.
