Job summary

JAM Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Product Security Analyst on a 12-month contract based in Barrow (LA14). The role focuses on security engineering activities, IA alignment, and developing Security Cases across programme phases.

The successful candidate will work in a highly collaborative environment, defining security artefacts, managing risks, and ensuring compliance with governance and design assurance processes within a defence/security context.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Information Assurance and Product Security within complex engineered systems
• Experience delivering security cases and managing information risk
• Experience engaging with supplier deliverables
• Awareness of HM Government IS 1 & 2, ISO 27000, IEC 62443 standards (desirable)

Responsibilities

• Define, agree and deliver Product Security engineering activities in line with the programme Engineering Management Plan
• Lead development of PMS Interim and Final Security Cases across defined programme phases
• Maintain alignment between system-level security artefacts and Whole Boat IA risk management approaches
• Manage IA Technical Queries and formal communications within programme processes
• Plan and manage Product Security activities to meet milestones and provide governance reporting
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring within the PMS Product Security team
• Contribute to continuous improvement of Product Security methods and tooling
