Job summary

JAM Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Principal Product Security Engineer on a 12 month contract in Barrow (LA14). The role requires delivering security engineering activities, creating security artefacts, and coordinating with internal teams and suppliers to ensure coherent security outcomes across the platform.

The position is based on site, with 1-2 days per month commitment. You will lead development of security cases, risk management, and alignment with governance plans, while mentoring the PMS

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Information Assurance and Product Security within complex engineered systems.
• Experience delivering security cases and managing information risk.
• Awareness of security standards and governance in regulated programmes.

Responsibilities

• Define and deliver Product Security activities in line with the programme plan.
• Lead development of PMS interim and final Security Cases across phases.
• Manage IA technical queries and formal communications per processes.
• Plan and report progress, risks and milestones to governance bodies.
