Job summary

JAM Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Product Security Analyst on a 12-month contract in Barrow, UK. The role focuses on leading security engineering activities, delivering Security Cases and risk management across the PMS domain within a large programme.

You will collaborate with engineering teams and external suppliers to achieve coherent security outcomes, applying risk-based security solutions within project constraints.

Responsibilities

• Define and deliver Product Security engineering activities per the programme plan.
• Ensure security activities follow approved processes, templates and guidance.
• Act as the primary Product Security SME for PMS within programme working groups.
• Lead PMS Interim and Final Security Cases across defined programme phases.
• Keep system-level artefacts aligned with WBPSec risk management approaches.
• Contribute to the Whole Boat IA Risk Register and PMS risk registers.
• Identify IA requirement shortfalls and document associated risks.
• Coordinate IA Technical Queries and formal communications per processes.
• Ensure outputs respect security classification and handling constraints.
• Operate within defined data management and communication processes.
• Plan Product Security activities to meet milestones and schedules.
• Provide regular governance reports: progress, risks, milestones.
• Identify delivery risks early and support mitigations.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring within PMS Product Security.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of Product Security methods.
