Principal Network Engineer

£85,000 plus annual bonus

Remote, UK

Are you a highly experienced Network Engineer with expertise in diverse infrastructure? We are seeking a Network Engineer to establish a Technical Ops approach to cloud and on-premises setups.

The Network Engineer will oversee hosting environments, observability, high availability, info-sec with IaC, supporting system and network infrastructure including switches, routers, load balancers, firewalls, compute, storage, and virtualization. Experience in mergers & acquisitions is a plus.

Technical Expertise – must haves

• Strong Palo Alto portfolio experience with Prisma
• Understanding of BGP with field experience in design, deployment, troubleshooting
• Enterprise-level system and network design experience
• Experience with cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Knowledge of IPSEC, DHCP, DNS
• Experience with Juniper switches & routers (Cisco considered)
• VXLAN and EVPN experience
• Load balancing experience (HAProxy, F5, A10, Kemp, etc.)
