Job Description:

Principal Network Engineer

We are seeking a highly experienced Network Engineer with expertise in diverse infrastructure to establish a Technical Ops approach for cloud and on-prem environments.

The role involves managing hosting environments, observability, high availability, information security with Infrastructure as Code (IaC). It requires experience with legacy and modern infrastructure migrations, and working on multiple projects simultaneously.

Key skills include expertise in Palo Alto, Next Gen Firewalls, Prisma, BGP, enterprise network design, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), IPSEC, DHCP, DNS, Juniper switches & routers, VXLAN, EVPN, and load balancing solutions such as HAProxy, F5, A10, Kemp.

If you have experience in mergers & acquisitions, this would be advantageous.

Technical Expertise – must haves

• Strong Palo Alto portfolio experience with Prisma
• Deep understanding of BGP with design, deployment, and troubleshooting skills
• Enterprise-level system and network design experience
• Cloud experience with any of AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Experience with IPSEC, DHCP, DNS
• Proficiency with Juniper switches & routers (Cisco considered)
• Experience with VXLAN and EVPN
• Load balancing experience (HAProxy preferred, F5, A10, Kemp as alternatives)
