Job summary

The Green Recruitment Company is seeking a Senior/Principal Power Grids Consultant to support major electricity network digitalisation programmes in the GB market. You will provide technical leadership, shape strategy, and help grow the consultancy’s presence across GB transmission and distribution sectors.

You will engage with operators, regulators, and investors, delivering advisory services across planning, regulation, policy and markets while mentoring junior staff and expanding client

Qualifications

• Significant experience in GB electricity networks sector.
• Established industry relationships in the UK electricity sector.
• Strong understanding of electricity transmission networks; distribution knowledge helpful.
• Experience in electricity network planning, network digitalisation, markets and regulation.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership on complex consultancy projects, especially GB electricity network digitalisation programmes.
• Drive business development by leveraging client relationships to secure new opportunities in the GB sector.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams delivering strategic, technical, commercial and regulatory advice.
• Ensure high-quality project delivery while managing stakeholders and outcomes.
• Mentor and develop team members within the Power Grids group.
• Represent the organisation at industry forums, conferences and client engagements.
