Job summary

Siemens Energy seeks a Lead Consultant for Market Application to shape our Grid consulting business in the UK and beyond. You will provide strategic advice on applying the latest technologies, guide customers through new market entry, and participate in opportunity development from RFI/RFP assessment to proposal and contract negotiation.

With 10+ years in energy consulting, you will lead studies, coordinate with TSOs/DSOs, and drive growth while traveling up to 40%.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in electrical power engineering or higher.
10+ years of relevant professional experience in consulting within the energy sector.
Advanced knowledge of transmission planning and operational studies up to 400 kV.
Deep understanding of TSO/DSO processes and grid planning considerations.
Advanced skills in power electronics applications and grid integration.
Knowledge of renewable generation (wind/solar).
Excellent communication and negotiation skills; English proficient.
Willingness to travel up to 40%.

Responsibilities

Provide strategic advisory on applications of latest technologies to customers and guide them through market-entry transitions.
Support opportunity development and bidding processes, including evaluation of opportunities and shaping scopes.
Define consulting scopes and services with customers up to proposal development and negotiation.
Drive regional business development with reliable financial forecasting and planning.
