Job summary

Financial Times seeks a Principal Engineer for Corporate Technology to lead senior engineering efforts across core enterprise platforms such as People, Finance and Procurement. You will define the engineering strategy, set standards, and mentor a team of Engineering Leads and senior engineers to ensure secure, scalable and well-governed technology services.

Qualifications

• Experience leading engineering teams across multiple enterprise platforms.
• Proven ability to translate complex tech problems into decisions.
• Experience with Oracle Fusion, Workday, or similar ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Define engineering strategy for Corporate Technology.
• Provide senior technical direction across platforms.
• Establish technical standards, patterns and guardrails with security and operability in mind.
• Lead and mentor Engineering Leads and senior engineers.
• Collaborate with Product, Architecture, Security, Data and People/Finance/Procurement teams.
