Job summary

IC Resources seeks a Principal Electronics Engineer to lead the design and development of advanced sensing and instrumentation products, while remaining hands-on with analog and digital circuit work. The role focuses on shaping product architecture and future technology direction.

You will collaborate closely with software, systems and mechanical teams, drive prototypes through verification and production, and mentor engineers to uphold engineering best practices and robust design.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electronic Engineering or related discipline.
• Extensive experience in electronic hardware design.
• Strong understanding of analogue and digital electronics.
• Experience leading complex product developments.
• Hands-on laboratory testing and debugging experience.
• Experience taking products from concept through production.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of analogue and digital electronic systems
• Define hardware architectures and technical requirements
• Develop schematics and support PCB design activities
• Perform hardware bring-up, testing and debugging
• Work closely with software, systems and mechanical engineering teams
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to engineers
• Support prototype development, verification and product release
