Arup’s London multidisciplinary design team is seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer specializing in SIT projects globally. You will lead electrical and MEP design from inception to completion and may take on Project Manager responsibilities, guiding project resources and commercial delivery while mentoring junior staff.

The role emphasizes innovation, decarbonisation and leading technical excellence within fast-paced SIT sectors, with opportunities to shape strategic electrical design

Qualifications

• Chartered Engineer (Building Services) or within 6–12 months of achieving it (CIBSE / IET).
• Significant experience in development and implementation of Electrical Engineering solutions across highly serviced buildings.
• Interest in investigating new opportunities, methods and technologies to enhance engineering offering.
• Proficiency in relevant design and modelling software.

Responsabilités

• Produce electrical and MEP designs for projects, accountable to project leaders and the electrical discipline.
• Potentially act as Project Manager for resourcing, commercial delivery and project success.
• Develop innovative electrical designs with cutting-edge technologies for SIT buildings.
• Manage project activities to align with strategic objectives and mentor junior team members.
• Represent the team in internal and client meetings with expert insights.
