Job summary

A leading engineering consultancy, Aldwych Consulting, seeks a Principal Electrical Engineer to lead electrical design delivery on major projects across healthcare, education, data centres and more in Scotland. You will own projects from inception to completion, overseeing internal teams, clients and consultants.

You’ll have Chartered or professional qualification with strong leadership, client-facing and communication skills, plus experience with Revit, AutoCAD, Dialux and OM Electrical.

Qualifications

• Chartered or professionally qualified; strong track record leading complex electrical/building services projects.
• Experience with Revit, AutoCAD, Dialux and OM Electrical.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design delivery on complex projects.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams.
• Develop design briefs and manage client relationships.
• Represent the business at client and project meetings.
• Review and oversee technical work and mentor junior engineers.
• Manage project costs, resources and commercial risks.
• Ensure projects are delivered to high technical and quality standards.
• Support business development and future client opportunities.
