Arup is hiring a Senior/Principal Electrical Engineer in London to lead electrical and MEP designs for SIT data centre projects worldwide. The role focuses on high-performance, net-zero aligned engineering with opportunities to assume project management duties and lead broader MEP initiatives, while mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

• Chartered Engineer in Building Services or near completion (6–12 months to achieve).
• Significant experience developing and implementing electrical solutions across highly serviced buildings (hospitals, labs, data centres).
• Proficient with design/modelling software and ability to mentor junior members.

Responsabilités

• Produce electrical and MEP designs for projects, accountable to project leaders and electrical discipline.
• Act as Project Manager for resourcing, delivery and project success.
• Lead development of innovative electrical designs for SIT buildings with cutting-edge technologies.
• Mentor and guide junior team members; delegate tasks effectively.
• Represent the team in internal/client meetings providing expert insights.
