Job summary

Arup is seeking a Principal Mechanical Engineer to lead the mechanical discipline within the data centre sector. You will guide design packages from brief through installation and commissioning, while providing technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members.

You will work with major global clients, manage budgets and coordinate across disciplines to deliver high quality outcomes in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering (preferably master's) with Chartership status (CIBSE / IMechE).
• Accomplished engineer with design and project management skills on fast-paced, technically complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design packages from brief to commissioning on data centre projects.
• Provide technical leadership across projects and mentor junior colleagues.
• Manage budgets and resources while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
