Job summary

We are seeking a chartered Principal Electrical Engineer to lead data centre projects and take ownership of delivery across the UK, including London Aldgate and St Albans offices. You will mentor engineers and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to drive innovative, sustainable electrical solutions.

Applicants should have post-graduate experience in data centre design, be familiar with ETAP, Relux/Dialux, AutoCAD and Revit, and be eligible for security clearance.

Qualifications

• Post Graduate/ Master's level in electrical engineering with building services focus.

Responsibilities

• Project planning and management
• Provide specialised technical input to studies and design for staff's specific area of expertise.
• Preparation of contract documentation and specifications.
• Estimating and cost control on projects.
• Manage own workload and meet deadlines on task assigned.
• Compiling technical project reports
• A self-starter who can use own initiative and a problem solver
• Present technical solutions to clients and peers
• Participate in development of technical proposals
• Attend design team and coordination meetings where required.
• Attend site inspection meetings where required.
• Liaise with clients, professional organizations, contractors, suppliers, sub-contractors and other design team members.
• Mentoring and development of junior and intermediate engineers in the group.
