Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Chartered Principal Electrical Engineer to lead data centre projects across the UK. You will deliver electrical designs for large-scale facilities, mentor multi-disciplinary teams, liaise with clients and manage project delivery from planning through to completion.

Ideal candidates will have postgraduate building services experience in data centres, familiarity with ETAP, Relux/Dialux, AutoCAD and Revit, and be prepared to travel including international assignments.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate/building services design experience with data centres.
• Chartered or working towards CEng with IET/CIBSE membership desirable.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary design teams across large projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical input to studies and design for data centre projects.
• Prepare contract docs and specifications for electrical services.
• Mentor junior engineers and lead design teams.
• Liaise with clients, contractors and other design team members.
• Support site supervision and project delivery across regions.
